Introducing SCDev Theme Single — A WordPress Theme That Never Leaves the Page
Most WordPress themes follow the same formula: header at the top, sidebar on the side, footer at the bottom. SCDev Theme Single throws that playbook out entirely.
There is no header. No sidebar. No footer in the traditional sense. Just one clean, centered container that fills the screen — and everything your visitors need lives right there.
Built for a Different Kind of Experience
SCDev Theme Single was designed for landing pages, app-style interfaces, and immersive single-page experiences. The idea is simple: your visitor arrives, and they never have to leave to get what they came for. Login, profile, contact, terms, privacy — it all happens in modals, overlays, and inline interactions.
What Makes It Different
The container itself is fully configurable. Width, height, background color, opacity, border radius, shadow, padding — all controlled from the WordPress Customizer. You can even set an entry animation: fade, zoom, flip, slide, bounce. The page literally animates into existence.
Dark mode is built in. One click toggles between light and dark, and the preference is remembered across visits.
The Page Footer That Does Everything
At the bottom of your content sits a smart footer — not a traditional site footer, but a dynamic section that includes a quick links column, a 3-step contact form, and an info bar with your address, email, phone, and a login button. The whole thing can be toggled globally or per page.
Login Without Going Anywhere
Clicking the login button opens a modal with three tabs: Login, Register, and Reset Password. Everything is handled via AJAX. The page never reloads. Google Sign-In is supported through OAuth 2.0 — just add your Client ID and Secret in the Customizer and you’re done.
Once logged in, the user’s name appears in the footer info bar. Clicking it opens a profile modal with avatar upload, personal info, billing address, and password change. Admins get a direct Dashboard link.
Posts That Open in Place
The archive page displays posts as cards — featured image or a gradient fallback with an emoji, author avatar, time elapsed, and category badge. Clicking a card opens the full post in a full-screen modal. No navigation. No back button needed.
Single posts have their own layout: a full-width banner image, reactions (👍❤️😂😮😢🔥), share buttons for Facebook, X, and WhatsApp, a view counter, and a comment section with edit and delete — all styled, all in-page.
The Card Flip
This one is just fun. A 3D flip button sits in the corner. Click it and the entire container flips like a card, revealing a completely different page on the back. Horizontal or vertical flip, your choice. The back side has its own scroll buttons.
Scroll Buttons With a Trick
The ▲ and ▼ buttons scroll one viewport at a time. But hold them down for half a second and they jump straight to the top or bottom. Hover over them and a tooltip explains exactly that.
Everything Toggleable
Reactions, share buttons, view count, comments, avatar, author name, time elapsed, category, featured image height — every piece of post meta has its own on/off switch in the Customizer. You build the experience you want.
Ready Out of the Box
On first activation, the theme automatically creates a Terms of Service page and a Privacy Policy page — both fully written, both using your site name and URL dynamically. Nothing to edit.
